A massive Rebloomer but a micro shrub. If I were a hobbit I would be thrilled with this plant.
It is a compact hydrangea! Try Twist-n-Shout® for a larger comparison to Pop Star®.
How would these new plants be pruned or deadhead? I want to buy but how do I know when and how to protect it during dormancy!? Please help I’m new to gardening and want to add these
Mine has started to have green leaves along with some dark leaves. Any thoughts? Thanks.
would love to know what kind of sun is required for each!
You can find this information on each plant page at firsteditionsplants.com/plants/
I live in zone 5 in Colorado, suggestions on full sun vs shade?
We recommend that Eclipse® receive full morning sun and dappled afternoon shade!
What zone is it?
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌿🌳💚
I saw this on the Home Depot site. Is it really available now?
Yes it’s there and on Amazon
Thanks for the informative video John! 🙂
Happy anniversary, Endless Summer, and I love seeing the way you are giving back to communities! 🌱
Thank you so much! 😄
shut up and take my money! lol serious question though, will these be available to purchase next year in Canada?
ME TOO, I need a few of these beauties in my Canadian garden!
@@TRguy64 just today ordered one through Home Depot
@@jimo4581 Are you in Canada or the US? ... I don't see it available for order in Western Canada, or maybe I'm just being a bit blind?

Okay, I guess will have to wait until next year. The 'Incrediball' grows like nuts for me, stems a bit weak though, so am looking forward to this new one! Oh, but 'Incrediball Blush' is rather very sturdy in comparison!
❤ Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤ Super ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful..yes , please import this to Australia 👍🇦🇺😍🫶💪🙏❤️😁
Magnificent !! I'll take 100😊
It was sooo much fun to see this great launch video for FlowerFullTM Ryan!!! :0)
Lovely gimme, gimme that!!!
It blooms on new wood? Can I do a hard cut on winter and will it still bloom for the next season ?
It blooms on new AND old wood! We do not recommend pruning in any season other than Spring.
I’m so excited to train this in my gardens and use it for my clients. How tall does it get
watch the video, he mentioned it.
I-am a beekeeper so it is any nectar or pollen on pop star?
Ohhhhh! I can’t wait to see these! I’m, of course, going to need a hedge of these. 😊
We totally agree!
@@BaileyNurseriesInc can u ship to Texas
Yes, we can!
Yes. I finally picked one up from Home Depot. This is truly stunning & quite unique coloring for a big leaf hydrangea. Love it. ❤
Help me … I’ve had my eclipse for over a month and it still hasn’t bloomed ! It’s grown a lot. I put it in a pot and followed instructions. I’m a little sad because I see tons of new leaves but no gorgeous blooms !
Helpful tips.
I have the original Endless summer variety and they have never rebloomed.
My eclipse hydrangea was delivered today, unfortunately, it’s leaves are droopy and doesn’t look good and cannot find any information about how to care for them nor how to plant them in containers. can anybody give me a suggestion on what to do,
Is this “Light My Fire” of Black Diamonds series? I can’t find any difference between the two.
Hi there! Eclipse® is the first hydrangea on the market with dark leaves that STAY dark, even in the sunlight!
How to purchase?

I just got one from Lowe’s!!!!
I just picked one up from my local nursery. It's absolutely stunning. Never seen a plant quite like it, never mind a hydrangea!
Zone 7a in MD. Full sun or morning sun only?
I am also in zone 7a in WV. I purchased two plants from Lowe’s. The tag on mine says they need full sun, which is why I purchased them. However, most of the online sources say they need morning sun with afternoon shade (of course 😭). I planted mine in a sunny location where they receive full sun from 9 am until 5 pm. I hope they do well! They have only been in the ground for two days.
Morning sun and dappled afternoon shade!
Got one 3 weeks ago left it in full sun it's in bad shape I had to move it to the front of the house that has Shade
Eclipse® requires morning sun and afternoon shade!
Can this be grown in the shade?
I just purchased 3 of these plants from a local nursery. I am in zone 6b. On the tags it says full sun. Does this sound okay? I would love to work this into my full sun bed but I wanted to make sure. Thanks!
I have the same question. I'm wondering if they are still prone to wilting.
There was an error with our tags that we are aware of and working to fix! Eclipse®needs full morning sun and dappled afternoon shade.
So to clarify, it’s ok to grow these in full sun in Illinois? There seems to be some confusion between the tag (which says full sun), and in this video you state full sun in Illinois but the website which says morning sun/afternoon shade as does a comment above. Thanks!
Yes you can in Illinois in full sun. The sun up there is not as hot as down south
I really wish there where pictures of what the blooms would look like when grown in acidic soil 😩
Boo hoo
Wow that bigleaf hydrangea
How much Sun should this plant get in zone 8 north Texas ?
Eclipse® requires morning sun and afternoon shade!
A lot of hydrangeas melt with any afternoon sun in Texas.
That's why we recommend Eclipse® gets full morning sun and dappled afternoon shade!
I passed by one at my Lowe’s today. So stunning, couldn’t leave without it.
i bought eclipse today. How can I maintain soil pH to get that rich cranberry color?
Hi there! Eclipse® planted in alkaline soil will keep their cranberry blooms. Figuring out your soil pH will be the first step in knowing how to amend the soil to keep the cranberry color.
cool plant
I DESEPERATLY NEED ONE: hOW COME CAN I GET ONE IN ARGENTINA? THANK YOU!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS
I love that Eclipse Hydrangea!! When can I get one?!?!
Eclipse® will be in garden centers in 2024!

I am excited to try Little Hottie this year!!! I have a full sun front porch!!!
How do I take care of it in a pot? There are no blooms yet.
So excited I picked this beauty up. keeping it in a container until I find the perfect spot to place a pop star!! ❤️
Will popstar bloom in a mostly shaded area?
